''Inspired by the beautiful flower garden sequence in Disney's 1951 animated feature Alice in Wonderland, this acrylic painting shows my interpretation of Alice and the wily Cheshire Cat, surrounded by the garden of live flowers. Rocking-Horseflies, Bread and Butterflies, laughing pansies, and singing roses add whimsy and colour to this beautiful scene. I've of course painted Alice in my own big-eyed style, smiling sweetly but perhaps a little perplexed by her adventures.''
