Joe has a long history of rich experiences as a contributor to the creative content of the Walt Disney Company. Initially he was a portrait caricature artist for the Disneyland Hotel, and producing illustration for ''Disneyland Magazine''. This lead to costume design for Disney theatrical productions and ice shows as well as visual displays for the Disney stores.
Other experiences include Disney ornament design for Christopher Radko, Disney Books by Mail and Disney's Golden Books. And Joe was featured as an artist on Main Street U.S.A. at Disneyland Park as part of their original art watch program. During the Disneyland Park 50th Celebration, he was a show and set designer for the show at innoventions, and for many years, the park featured Joe's pumpkin carvings during their popular Halloween season.
In 2006. Joe began a new career as a featured artist for the Disney Galleries. Due to placing shadows and hidden images in his paintings of Disney films and attractions, he was dubbed ''The Painter of Shadows,'' by guests. These pieces are highly prized Disney collectibles throughout the world.
Joe represents the Walt Disney Company as a sketch artist, performing ''live'' sketches of Disney characters for groups all over the world.
