Disney Artist Print - Craig Skaggs - Golden Son

Craig Skaggs was born in St. Louis Missouri, on May 9th, 1966. Craig began working professionally while still in high school for a small children's book publisher. In 1993 he was able to do freelance art full-time working for a small advertising agency. Soon after Craig was picked by Skywalker Ranch to do Star Wars art for Brown Shoe Company, which eventually progressed to him designing the actual shoe lines as well. Since then Craig has designed a wide variety of products, toys and collectibles for over 30 companies. He has been a cover artist for several publishers including Random House, was the leading medical illustrator for the American College of Cardiology, and is currently the lead medical illustrator for the Journal of Allergy and Immunology. Craig was able to fulfill a lifelong dream however a few years ago by becoming an official fine artist for Lucasfilm(tm) and now a contributor to the Fine Art for the galleries in the Disney Parks.
