After practicing architecture for 15 years, I began to shift my focus from the profession and repurpose my skills as an architect in a new way. What had started out as a personal exploration of reimagining the built and unbuilt environment in a new and fresh way slowly became a full time experiment of depicting and capturing these ideas via various media and artistic presentations. The Work intends to allow the viewer to see well known as well as obscure architecture in a different light using dramatic and impossible viewpoints, as well as via the utilization of color palettes not typically associated with certain places dand buildings. The actual pieces and techniques vary from highly controlled paint, pencil and digital work, to more fluid and structurally ambivalent renderings, all of which owes a debt to the great architects and artists who continue to inspire and influence me.
