William Silvers is an artist with twenty-five years of commercial success. An Ohio Native, inspired by his father who was also an artist, William attended Bowling Green University where he received a BFA in Graphic Design at age twenty-one. Fresh out of college with a little advertising experience under his belt William co-founded Live Wire Studios, a full-service art studio, in Cleveland Ohio.
In 1995, his film career began at Walt Disney Feature Animation, where he adapted his fine art painting skills to the world of filmmaking. For almost 10 years he created unforgettable backgrounds for Disney classics such as Mulan, Tarzan, Lilo and Stitch, and Brother Bear.
William also creates new and exciting fine art pieces for Disney Galleries and Lucasfilm Ltd., his art can be found throughout the Disney Theme Parks, and his relationship with the Walt Disney Company continues to be a consistent theme in his career. ''What began as a foray into film making blossomed into a comprehensive career, the foundation for which was Disney Animation.''
