Disney EPCOT Recycled Paper Bracelet - Pink - Long Thin Beads

This Disney World bracelet is sold in EPCOT and is an interesting piece.

Disney guide maps and other outdated Disney paper products are collected at Walt Disney World. Hand selected colorful papers are then shipped to Uganda, East Africa, where they are recycled by turning the papers into Jewelry Beads. Each bead is hand rolled by one, of a small group, of African women. The hand rolled beads are then dipped in a water proof sealant, dried, and then shipped back to EPCOT in Orlando Florida, where the beads are assembled into Bracelets, Necklaces, Earrings, and more.

This venture is how these African women feed and support their families. Each bead is hand made, extremely durable and water resistant. Each bead represents the care and craftsmanship of the woman who made the bead, so each piece is unique. These bracelets are only available in EPCOT at Walt Disney World, so these are a rare find.
